I’m Kristal, a portrait photographer passionate about capturing people in their most comfortable expressions, enhanced by beautiful lighting and flattering poses. I LOVE storytelling through images, documenting life’s precious moments, and creating timeless portraits. With over 12 years of experience in portrait photography, I bring a blend of skill, knowledge, and creativity to every session, creating well captured photos and enjoyable photo shoot experiences.

For over a decade, I worked under Kristal Passy Photography in the Pacific Northwest. After relocating to Arizona, I felt inspired to embrace a new name, Maia Stone Photography. The name felt connected to Sedona’s majestic red rocks, evoking a sense of being embraced by the surrounding stones. In Greek, Maia means “mother.” I look forward to capturing your story through my lens!
